Fancy an exhilarating and adrenalin fuelled trip? - why not come and ride the rapids ! At the National White Water Centre near Bala you can come whitewater rafting all year round on fast flowing rapids on our steep and rocky mountain river .
The Tryweryn River is controlled by a dam release - so water is often flowing when other British rivers are dry, creating a unique year round white water venue.
Canolfan Tryweryn first developed commercial white water rafting over 20 years ago and is now the largest and most respected rafting organisation in the UK. It is also internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for paddlepsort and coaching with kayaking, canoeing, safety and rescue courses offered by highly qualified experienced staff.

Dates: 1st December through to mid 17th October, 7 days a week subject to a water release from Llyn Celyn reservoir, April to October - Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.30am - 6.30pm. December to March – 9am – 4pm everyday.
Rates
Whitewater Rafting prices start from £28.00 per person, there is no fee for spectators or using the Tryweryn Trail.
Various rafting sessions are available for groups, prices vary depending on the day of the week and time of day.

Minimum ages - 12 years old for Whitewater Rafting and 16 years old for Orca Experience. The shortest rafting session takes 2 hours, whilst the longest lasts all day.
