This route starts from the Bod Petryal picnic site (off the B5105) and journeys though the forest before following the north eastern shoreline of the Alwen and the south western shore of Llyn Brenig – it then goes back into the forest, and works its way towards the Clywedog Reservoir. The route goes on to Cyffylliog, before taking more tracks through the forest. The route has some challenging climbs, with breathtaking descents – a real high for serious bikers!
